THREE: GREEN REFECTORY
I. LOVE. THIS. PLACE.
Upon entering, I was instantly overwhelmed by the most incredible selection of cakes that looked like what you’d find at a primary school fete cake stall. Everything is priced so fairly and it really doesn’t appear that you could go wrong with anything you ordered (I had a homemade sausage roll and my brother had an apple and boysenberry pie both of which were delectable).
The coffee, to be completely honest, was nothing to rave about, and made me feel really sluggish after I’d finished. The food and the atmosphere more than made up for it though. I would take my Nanna there just as quickly as I’d take my bitchy gay friends and they’d all enjoy themselves.
I loved the mismatched coffee mugs, the sugar being served in little tea cups and everything looking like it was made with love. I was so comfortable here. I really can’t wait to go back.
